Better searching

Okay, adding everything in the collection to your playlist is slow as hell (probably because I've got MySQL setup as the source)... so that little search field at the top that filters your current playlist isn't very useful.

The Collection view is irritating becuase it doesn't show how many tracks you've found for each artist, and there's no option to show the results FLAT (instead of as a tree). A better view would be hierarchical, but automatically expanded (or with options!). Also, there's no way to select multiple nodes.

How about have the always-visible search field at the top use a dropdown or popup window to show the results that you can then drag files from? Or, how about a hotkey to bring up a popup window for searching? Something faster than: POINT AT COLLECTIONS -> CLICK -> MOVE MOUSE TO SEARCH FIELD -> CLICK -> TYPE -> EXPAND TREE NODE -> EXPAND TREE NODE -> EXPAND TREE NODE -> COLLAPSE TREE NODE -> EXPAND TREE NODE -> DRAG -> SCROLL/DROP.

Dropping files on the bar at the bottom should enqueue at the end of the playlist, AND scroll the playlist down to the new stuff you added!

Right-click menu -> Enqueue Album(, Artist?)

When you're listening to random tracks, it's cool to be able to suddenly start listening to the album a cool track is on, because it reminds you of that cool album. But! If the track has passed by (because you were so busy enjoying it), or you don't want to listen to the album NOW but rather at the end of the queue, there's nothing you can do. Right-clicking the track should give the option of enqueuing the whole album.

Inline-listening

It would be sweet if any list of mp3's that the program displays could be a mini-playlist that amarok's virtual record needle could drop onto. For example, the lists of albums and suggestions on the left could have a "play" button beside each track. Clicking it would change the PLAYING focus to that list, and after the list hits the end, it can continue by playing the next track in the regular playlist.

Queue buttons [+]

It might be nicer to have a [+] button beside every album and track to enqueue it (instead of having to use the right-click menu). It's more intuitive and fun!
