Lockpicking is now obsolete, thanks to a clever technique they've dubbed "bumping". Basically, by putting a special key in the lock and hitting it with a soft mallet of some kind, you can cause the pins that are stoping the lock from rotating to jump out of the way, instantly opening the lock. It's incredibly simple to learn and really cheap. It feels like cheating!
