Google Query Tool

I find myself often creating advanced google queries like the following:

("windows xp" OR "windowsxp" OR "winxp") "ip routing" (enable OR disable)

(In this case, I was figuring out how to disable IP Routing in Windows XP)

The most useful feature of a tool like this would be to automatically create the conceptually-similar-terms (i.e., if I inserted "windows xp", it would automatically add "winxp" and "windowsxp").

Its main features would be:

Generating the database of concepts will be a challenge; the generation procedure will need to be semi-automatic, or maintained by large groups of people. Making queries easier to enter should be a relatively tractable problem though. :)

Another idea:

When I think of queries, I often think of them hierarchically. The first thing is the most genreal term, then a more specific term, then an even-more-specific one. If the search engine knew how specific I thought each term was, it could interpret each query term this way and could then automatically determine how close together words should be in the page, or how "fuzzy" (synonyms) each term should be.
